• 1/16 scale German Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F2 Medium Tank plastic model kit by Trumpeter (Kit No. 00919)
• Large-scale representation of the famous Panzerkampfwagen IV, one of Germany’s most important tanks of World War II
• Depicts the Ausf.F2, an important development that introduced substantially increased anti-tank firepower
• Armed with the long-barrelled 7.5cm KwK 40 L/43 main gun
• The longer 7.5cm gun gave the Panzer IV significantly improved capability against increasingly well-armoured enemy tanks
• Ausf.F2 vehicles were produced during 1942, during a major transition in Panzer IV development
• The Ausf.F2 designation was relatively short-lived, with the configuration subsequently becoming associated with the early Ausf.G designation
• Captures the characteristic Panzer IV hull, angular turret and prominent long-barrelled main armament
• Features the distinctive eight-road-wheel running gear found on the Panzer IV family
• Massive 1/16 scale provides impressive dimensions and significantly greater display presence than conventional 1/35 armour kits
• Large scale is particularly well suited to highlighting hatches, tools, suspension components and exterior fittings
• The Panzer IV served as a core German medium tank platform throughout much of WWII
• Long-gunned Panzer IV variants became increasingly important as German forces encountered heavier Allied and Soviet armour
• Suitable for Eastern Front, North African and European WWII-themed displays, depending on the chosen markings and finish
• Excellent centrepiece for collectors of German Panzers, large-scale armour and WWII military vehicles
• Broad armour panels provide an excellent canvas for historically inspired German camouflage and unit markings
• Large running gear and tracks offer extensive opportunities for realistic mud, dust, earth and worn-metal effects
• Particularly suitable for advanced weathering techniques including paint wear, washes, streaking, pigments and accumulated grime
• An impressive large-scale subject showing a key stage in the evolution of the Panzer IV from infantry-support tank to increasingly capable tank fighter
• Kit supplied unpainted and unassembled
• Glue and paint not included
• Recommended for experienced modellers aged 14+
